This small community on the side of the mountain above Kona-Kailua has changed since our last visit in 2022. There are many more artisan shops and places to enjoy coffee or tea. There is also a restaurant, Holualoa Kitchen (pictured below), that we would rank as having some of the best-prepared food on the island. Also, below are some casual shots as we spent 3+ hours sipping, walking, and eating.
